Typescript of an interview conducted by Ben Bahlmann on 13 Jan. 2000. The tapes from which the interview was transcribed were retained by Bahlmann. Bishop talks about growing up in Sunnyside, Utah, and his work with the Civilian Conservation Corps. He also discusses his experiences training on B-17 bombers, his experiences with bombing missions over Europe, and his experiences as a prisoner of war after he was captured by the Germans.
